Welcome to the Homeostasis Biology page!

The sections of your text that apply to this section are: (p. 895 - 896).

  •  Homeostasis is readily defined as the body's ability to maintain certain internal environmental conditions (like temperature, chemical balances, etc.) despite or in response to changes in its internal and external environment.
  •  We will be covering two systems in the body that can interact with the environment:
  1. Nervous System
  2. Endocrine System

  •  We will cover the human reproductive system as an example of endocrine response and development.
