It was so great seeing everyone at the reunion. Thanks to all those who worked so hard to put it together. I left Moncton in the summer of l952 as my Mother was transferred to North Bay. Hated that city. Became a Rep for the Bell and transferred to Hamilton and then Toronto. In l955 I was hired by TWA as a hostess and moved to Kansas City, then New York and on to Los Angeles. Flew a lot of International because somehow I fooled them into thinking I spoke French, lets just say I tried! Met my husband in Palos Verdes and we were married in l958. He was a graduate of Stanford and wanted to move back there so we went north in l959. He also wanted me to quit flying as he says he never knew where I was or when I'd be home. Actually he was a wonderful male chauvinist. We have two sons - Mark who graduated from Cal Poly and is married and Alex who has his own landscaping business in N. Calf. My husband (Pete) died in 1974 and I went back to work in 1977 with Sysco Corp a Foodservice distributor. I went into sales and ended up in marketing as a Brands Mgr. Retired in l999 and decided to sell the house and all the headaches and return to Toronto. With two sons still in Calif., I visit a lot. All my brothers and sisters live in and around Toronto and we are all very close. We do a lot of travelling, playing bridge and I finally got into refinishing antique furniture, which I love. I have very fond memories of Moncton High and I really think we grew up in the best of times. Life is good! Lets have another reunion!

I am so sorry that I will not be in Moncton for the reunion but we had made plans to go to Scotland with friends in September and the dates conflict. I have so many memories of my times at MHS and the friends that I made. I hope that I can go when you have our next reunion.
Have a great time.

Thanks to the members of the steering committee for the time spent in organizing the upcoming reunion. I was going to call it a Fall Frolic, but after 50 years, we are all likely too old to do much frolicing!! I am still living in the Moncton area, across the river in Albert Co. just like I was in high school. After high school, I attended Robinsons Business College, and worked several years @ Swift Canadian Co.
Married in 1956 - have 3 sons, 1 daughter, 1 step-daughter, and 9 grandchildren. Spent 20 years working as accounting clerk with the Town of Riverview, retiring in Jan, 2000. My husband passed away in 1996 from Lou Gehrigs Disease and I learned a lot about being a caregiver for 2 and 1/2 years. Re-married in June, 2000 to a wonderful man from Arkansas and we spend 9 months in NB and 3 months in Arkansas. (So I did finally get out of Albert County, at least for 3 months of the year) haha. Looking forward to seeing everyone in Sept.
