I've been living in St. Catherines since 1990. When Gerard was laid off from Marine Atlantic in 1997, when the ferry service was terminated, we decided in 1999 to start an electrical contracting business. It's a home-based business, Gerard doing the electrical contracting and myself doing the office work. I was working as a home care & support worker but retired from that in 2000.

While at Purdue I worked for the Math. Dept. - over 9,000 students taking math. Also was secretary to the principal of West Lafayette High School for 3 yrs. In Syracuse Sean was born 32 yrs ago. I worked for 10 years at Liverpool High School in the office. There were 3,000 students in one building. We moved to Ct. 15 years ago and I worked for Temporaries in a lot of interesting jobs for 9 yrs and retired in 1995. Hobbies are needlework, rug hooking, reading, skiing, boating, snorkelling and mostly genealogy. In 1993 I published a book The Descendants of John Nugent of New Brunswick. I am presently working on a family history book of McNinch, McIninch, MacNintch families of Maine and New Brunswick.
