After graduating from MHS in 1954, I became a teacher and after five years teaching near Fredericton in Stanley I returned to Moncton High as a teacher. One year after I transferred to Harrison Trimble High School and became principal in 1972. Now I am retired and enjoying every minute of it.

I've been living in St. Catherines since 1990. When Gerard was laid off from Marine Atlantic in 1997, when the ferry service was terminated, we decided in 1999 to start an electrical contracting business. It's a home-based business, Gerard doing the electrical contracting and myself doing the office work. I was working as a home care & support worker but retired from that in 2000.
