Married to Cathy Cameron (Class of ‘79) since 1983. We have four children aged 5-14 and have lived in Elmsdale, NS since 1986. I am a District Manager for an industrial supply company and Cathy is a Freelance journalist (See the Transcript on Saturday’s, “Life in The Cheap Lane”. In our spare time we.....oh, wait a minute, we have no spare time. Gotta go.
I returned to visit the Maritimes at the end of May 1999. Of course, one of the highlights of my trip was to see Moncton High School again. With the brief time available to me, I had the wonderful opportunity to speak to my former Chemistry teacher, Mrs. Spinney. Regretfully, I didn't get a chance to visit my other teachers. From what I hear, it is still a top ranking place to obtain an excellent education. My high school diploma still hangs on the wall with my other diplomas and certificates. I am now working as an electrical inspector at the Quality Auditing Institute. The organization provides testing and certification of building, plumbing, roofing, and electrical products. Since I am the only technical person in the electrical division, I hope that I can still escape for some vacation in the near future. Currently, I am also somewhat busy with information technology for the company.

So much time has passed! But it's great to read these updates on everyone's lives. My own resume reads like a bad novel..... I moved to Fredericton right after high school and did the university thing, studying archaeology in Canada, US, Rome and Athens. (See, Mr. Broderick! I DID amount to something!) I worked as an archaeologist both here and in the Mediterranean, Middle East for about a dozen years before doing a complete career change, becoming a communications director for an environmental organization - then a political "back room boy", after that, uhmmmm, let me see... a media consultant, a resource development consultant, and lately a CEO of a non-profit organization... (short attention span, I guess - but man, I'm having FUN) I travel as much as I can to feed my soul and I still get to Greece for a few months every year where I keep a small studio apartment hideaway on a jewel of an island…and of course I still have my infamous cottage in Caissie Cape... (Yes, I still have photos of y'all that I plan to blackmail you with to pay for my retirement). Yup, still single.... and crazy after all these years.
Have gone through a couple of careers since leaving Moncton but have finally settled on information science - i.e. librarianship. I currently am working for a couple of companies here in California - one as a regular corporate librarian - the other as a cyber-librarian where I do all the work on the web from home. I was married, briefly, but had no children, and am now happily single. I figured I was a California girl from birth - it just took me 30 years to get here and I changed my name legally shortly after arriving. Haven't been back to Moncton for some time but have some fond memories (those memories I do have of those 3 years…) of the place and the people. Moncton High was indeed an interesting experience. In my free time my favorite activities are riding my motorcycle - a BMW R1100R, a whole lot of crafts from stained glass to fabric to woodworking, and teaching or performing Scottish Country Dance.

I have lived in Vancouver since 1983. Unmarried but unavailable (sorry!) I have worked in bicycle retail, including part owner of a bike store, until quite recently. Now I work as an independent sales agent in outdoor sports (bikes, and other gear). Just started at it, so I expect to be broke for a while, but I’d be happy to buy a beer (micro-brewed, of course) for anyone who ends up on the Wet Coast!
Currently residing in the Hillsborough area and working as a mechanic - have pursued 2 careers since I departed the hallowed halls....one fulfilled a dream to work as a commercial radio operator which took me a few different places. My current trade….
I'm in Moncton once or twice a year these days, but always make the time to drive by MHS to see if it still looks the same.

Living & working in Springhil, NS with Correctional Service Canada. Married with two daughters. I get up to Moncton at least once a month and always enjoy a drive by the old school.
19 April 2004
Working as a Pension Analyst with a private consulting firm (Morneau Sobeco) since Jan 2002. Figured 15 years of my own business was enough - time to plan for retirement - mine included. My boys are now 12 and 16 and play the best game going - Football of course!
Wanda (Morton - see next entry) & Michael are city kids who have moved to the country. Wanda is a principal at an elementary school and Michael has recently retired from 20 years in the radio industry and is currently staying at home to run the farm.

Wow, my daughter, who graduated from Moncton High in 2004 just emailed me this web site, saying isn't it cool that we are now both alumni of Moncton High!
It is nice seeing familiar names and all the great stories on here...
AS for me...well still in Moncton, working for the federal government. Aside from my 18 yr old daughter (I already had her when I was at MHS...lol.. how else can I explain an 18 yr old, given my tender age of 29!)I also have a 13 yr old son and a dog! (Nope, not married anymore...I am one of the 2 of three that don't make it!)
But life is good ..nothing monumentous,... travel, family, friends and all the normal stuff of life!

I am still living in Calgary but make it back to our paradise spot in Chester Basin, Nova Scotia for the summers. Where has the time gone?
