Hello old Grads and Teachers,

I currently live in Wpg. and yes, it’s cold out here!!! I work for C.N. and have been since 1978. I moved here in 1987, when C.N. pulled out of Moncton. I never got married and I suppose I choose a Career over that. I guess it’s just as well, as most people I know from the late 70"s and early 80"s have gone their separate ways. I sure miss Moncton, and I try to get back as often as I can. I’m so sorry I couldn’t make it back for the 25 Reunion, but hey, there is always the 50TH! Take Care! Before I end this, I would like to Thank all the Staff of that era, and esp. Mr. Potter, who put up with me and many, many others during our educational discussions??? I still pause and smile, from time to time, remembering his class, and that was 26 years ago!!! To any new students who might by chance be reading this; High School can be a lot of work, but if you look for it, you will NEVER have as many friends, and as many "Good Times", in as short of time, as you do now! Embrace it, and cherish it, because if you balance it right, you’ll remember it for ever!! Just a little bit of wisdom from an ol’ "ALUMNI"

It's nice to see so many familiar names. Many fond memories shared with so many fantastic people.

I'm in Cambridge with my much better half Rozalie. Workwise, I manage an engineering group. The same company since 1987. Roz is a teacher.

We ski and curl during the winter (as would most!!!), travel about during the summer, and always make it back to Moncton at least once a year. Drop a line if you ever come up this way...there's always room at the table for old friends.

Hi folks!

Great to hear from my MHS chums ... lots has happened since '77! After 4 years as a Public Education Geologist with the NS Dept. of Mines and Energy, I became Curator of Education and Public Programs at the NS Museum of Natural History. Now let's see, what happened after that ... oh yes, I married Bob (Robert) Grantham in a ceremony at the Museum - our tuxedo-clad ring bearer was Gus the gopher tortoise, the museum's 80 year old mascot! I went on leave from my job to join him in St. John's, NL in Jan. of 2002. While on "leave", I have been Manager of Interpretation at the Johnson GEO CENTRE, a new geological museum built into the rock of local landmark, Signal Hill ... neat place with lots of high tech shows, exhibits, and best of all ... rocks! (Check out the Web site at www.geocentre.ca). After I return to my job at the NS Museum in July 2003, Bob and I will be doing the long distance relationship thing. But life is good! All the best on your adventures! Take care.

~  Martha   :-)

I am enjoying country life in the Annapolis Valley with my husband, Alex and my two daughters, Kate 7 and Claire 5.  We spent 11 years in the US, first as graduate students at the University of Mississippi and then working in New Jersey.  We are happy to be back home closer to family.  I commute to Halifax where I am a professor at the College of Pharmacy, Dalhousie University.  We enjoy family life filled with skiing, swimming and horseback riding (Kate). I look forward to reading about all of our classmates of 1977!

Hi There Fellow Classmates of 77';
My have the years gone by.....where ?, one really doesn't know. I have been living in Ontario since 87', but still manage to get back to Moncton several times a year. Oh, how I miss it. I do keep contact with a few from our graduating class, which are not on this website and will most definitely forward them this link as I just came across it today. It brought a smile to my face to see a number of you have found it too!
I agree with Brenda (Mersereau) Geneau, it is high time we all get together and break bread once again....30 years is coming up in 2007. Let's put a committee together. Last reunion I attended or heard of was our 10th in 1987. I'm sure many of us have alot of stories to share now!

Really neat to see where some of our classmates have ended up. I live in Fredericton with my mechanic husband, Nelson Palmater. Our son, Jed (Jeremiah) is currently at NBCC Moncton in the Automotive Service Tech program.
After MHS I went to Dalhousie and received my BA in Sociology and Social Anthropology. I went on to Acadia and received my Master of Divinity degree.
I was ordained in the Baptist denomination in 1984 and married in 1988. After pastoring for 5.5 years, and just prior to Jed's birth, we moved to Fredericton.
I am now a Mary Kay Sales Director. I drive the Pontiac Vibe not the Pink Cadillac, yet.
The 10 year reunion was great. How about the 35th?

I have been living in Moncton, never left actually, with my husband Dale.  We have no children, just pets.  I have been working for the federal government in human resources (compensation)for the last 23 years.  I am counting the years to retirement, as Dale just retired from working on the police force after 32 years and I am very jealous!  We have travelled to 22 countries over the years but are slowing down.  I really miss not having a reunion but am hopeful that some day we will - BEFORE we turn 80 though!!

I am currently employed with the same company as I was moments after the grad dance in 1977, Harvey’s Travel on Cameron St. Married for 20 years, Bill and I have two wonderful children Sara 11 and Jennifer 13.  We are all involved...Brace yourself people...in our community church, Stilesville United. Spare time is spent at committee meetings, piano lessons, drama practices...I’m sure you all know the routine. (But I am still the same, just bigger)  I loved reading what everyone is doing now...Like I found out about this site...tell a friend.

Living just outside  Moncton city limits with my husband Percy, (he's from Dartmouth)  Yes I finally married him 8 years ago (1994) after "living in sin" for 13 years. No  children, just 2 old cats.  I went back to school and took accounting and a travel agent course.  Worked in the moving industry for many years.  In April 2002 we formed our own long distance moving company.  My husband still moves furniture coast to coast.  I stay home and mow the lawn (all 3 and a half acres) and run the office.  I also do quite a bit of sewing. Curtains, toppers, duvets, fleece jackets, etc. Haven't been to a reunion yet, never knew what year I belonged to, so I just didn't bother. Have travelled quite a bit over the years, and no plans to stop yet. I haven't changed too much in my looks, still wear glasses, short highlighted hair, and am about the same size....

October 2005

Hi All,

Hard to believe that 50 is within sight. Have been in Toronto for just shy of a quarter century. At times, I'm ready to depart the city, but all things considered, life is good! Am working at the University of Toronto Scarborough - a five minute drive from home - as a Windows server administration type. Sue - married since 1990, and I have three kids: Adam (1995), Lara (2003) and Lucas (2005); yes, a new parent at 45! Haven't been to Moncton since 1989, but a reunion would change that!

Very best wishes,

Mike
