MHS Rules!!!!!
29 Nov 2002
I had a good time at MHS, but I must say University is better. Right now I'm at UNB doing Geological Engineering.
1 August 2002
I'm currently studying Computer Science at Mount Allison University doing research on combinatorical graph theory on finite state automatas(FSM's).
14 June 2006
Well, it's been just about 6 years since graduation, i work at Minacs in payroll I’ve been here for five years - i never figured out what i wanted to do so i just worked. I'm very happy where i am right now in my life, happier than I’ve ever been. =)
20 June 2006
Doesn't it seem like forever that we graduated? You may recall that after MHS I attended University of Ottawa for a BScN, so now I am RN BScN. I decided against becoming a doctor (after being an RN and living with a doctor, I decided it wasn't for me). Worked in hospital administration/management for a bit and LOVE it. I also worked as an independent Clinical Resource Management Consultant.
I returned to school (yup, Ottawa U again) for the collaborative MBA-LLB (watch out, Mr. Smart Ass with a law degree *wink*) because I'm still not sure what I want to do when I grow up.
I am now working on the Neurosurgical Unit at The Ottawa Hospital (PT) and part-time professor as well (who would have guessed, given my attendance issues he he).
If you're planning on visiting the Ottawa area, gimme a shout!!

Hello Fellow Grads of 2000!
Well four years have gone by and lots has changed in my life and I’m sure in yours as well. In May 2004 I received a Bachelor of Arts with a Major in History, minors in English and Sociology from Acadia University. I have enjoyed my new life in Wolfville these past years so much that I am staying for a few more! I begin Acadia’s two year Bachelor of Education Secondary Program this September and I have my fingers crossed that I’ll get back to MHS to do a practicum! In September, I will be joined by my kid sister Alisha, who is going into her 1st year of a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree. It will be nice to have her close, contrary to the parents’ beliefs. I am spending this summer here in Wolfvegas working for the University and really having a great summer. I hope everyone is doing well and feel free to email me. It’s sure hard to believe that we’re almost half way to our 10 year reunion and I hope to see you all there!
Forever A Purple Knight,
Kelsie-Ann.

Wow, so yeah. I'm still alive. Tried the University thing twice, ran out of money last year, so working full time at Minacs (call center) and planning on finishing my degree (Business Admin, not Computer Science) by correspondence.
Been working on planning a wedding, for the not-so-distant future, with my fiancé Deena. Craziness... who'd ever think it was so much work?
Feel free to get ahold of me sometime:

Hi everyone!
Our days at Moncton High seem like ages ago now. Here's a little update on me!
I'm STILL in university. Sometimes it seems like I'll never get out. I recieved my Diploma in Engineering in October 2005, I'm finishing up my Bachelor's in Engineering... all set to graduate in May 2007, and never ever return to school.
I've been keeping myself really busy over the last couple years in university! I spent 2 years on residence council as treasurer at O'Brien Hall at Dalhousie. I was on the Dalhousie Sexton Engineering Undergraduate Society executive last year, as VP-Finance, and on Dalhousie University's first ever concrete canoe team (check us out at www.dalcanoe.com!!!). This year, I'm the Presiednt of the Atlantic Council of Engineering Students, VP-Atlantic for the Canadian Federation of Engineering Students, and the Captain of the 2006 Dalhousie University Concrete Canoe Team.
I ride a motorcycle now (who woulda guessed it in high school?!?). I have a 1982 Honda CM450E... the bike is as old as I am. I can't wait to get myself a new one when I graduate from Dal... a 2007 Honda VTX1300! It bites taking the bus in the Winter, but it just makes you love the summer that much more!
Speaking of summers, I've been spending my last 4 working for the City of Dieppe's Engineering Department. I'm in the middle of applying for something totally different for this upcoming summer (my last as a student); engineering consultant work in the Canadian Arctic! Gas pipeline projects and earth dams for mining operations. Just me and the polar bears, chillin' in July!
I guess that's it for now. I'll see you all at the reunion... wow, in like 4 years? Time just keeps tickin' by...
Cheers,
Chris

Hey everyone... I was just looking at the site. Hasn't changed from the last time I was here. Don't know if any of you guys remember me but I went to MHS when I was in Grade 9, and had to leave to come to Alberta with my parents at the beginning of Grade 10. Well, I have graduated now, and am living with my boyfriend of 8 months in Edmonton Alberta. I left my parents in Calgary. I hated the school I graduated from only because it wasn't MHS and I missed the people that I grew up with but what can you do? [laugh]
I hope to come down to visit soon with my boyfriend to see my girls Kelly and Emily... and whoever else I haven't seen in forever that still remembers me... E-mail me plase, I would love to hear from you guys.

Hey Ya'll, I was just surfing around the web and thought I'd update this for any of my old High school chums that wanted to drop me a line. I am currently working in the food industry and studying Business Administration and Entrepreneurship.
Love cars, trucks, dangerous things and girls that are dangerous.
20 June 2006
I'm still checking in on you guys. Right now I'm in South Korea teaching English and it's great! If anyone is thinking about doing it, let me know.
The memories of High School will never leave me, thanks to everyone for making life amazing.
Just wanna' get out a here and make lots a money so my Mom and Dad can retire early. They're such nice people.
Well, since the last time I wrote, some things have changed. I am still living in Calgary (3 years on Sept. 11) and I was recently employed by A "New" Sobey’s grocery chain out here, where I work in the Meat Department as an assistant mngr type. Is full time and the pay is good. Those of you who did know me, knew I wasn't much of a talker (I stink at writing these things) anything else....just drop me a line.
Cheers!

Everything that I thought high school should have been. It was where all my best memories were made, even the bad ones. The best time I ever had, except the classes, but by far the most memorable experiences ever... ... MM, RC, GB, AB, LC.

An update. I'll start off with the usual....
I'm living here in Moncton.... still. With my fiancé Andrew.
Not doing anything worthwhile, although I'm not as shy as I once was, so if you see me say hi and I will likely talk to you in a normal way, without turning red in the face.
enough of that...
Little update for Kayla G, if you knew me then you knew (of) Kayla. She's currently working for a gift shop on cruise ships. She will be going out for her third contract this week...(on my birthday, Aug 14, Wah! heh)
In any case, I'd like to give a shout out to Ryan W, if you even check here. Stuff happened in the 9th grade, and its been years since Kayla or I have seen ya. Send a message, k? I'd really like to know what went wrong, you were a cool person.
My updates aren't very good...That’s all I wanted to say...I'm going now.
later.
Grads of 2000 and all years: Enjoy your time here, this is where I had the best times of my life......well so far. Good luck in the future.

Greeting all,
Well, hum.let's see here..What have I been up to? I recently completed a four year honours degree in International Development Studies from Saint Mary's University. In this time also found myself in West Africa twice over these fabulous four years. The first time doing field research in the Gambia. The second being a 9 month stint in Senegal. These were by far my fondest memories over the past few years. I now fine myself in Moncton working at the Multicultural Association of the Greater Moncton Area (MAGMA) and loving it........That pretty well sums up mu current adventures. Hope to see you all around. Enjoy life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi All. After graduating from St.FX University in 2004 with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration (Major: Information Systems), I find myself back in Moncton, NB. I am working full time for the City of Monctons Community Services Department at City Hall and absolutely love it. I live out in 'sweet home Albert County' with my parents still (but not for long...) and my boyfriend of nearly 4 years who has recently relocated here from Cape Breton. After 4 years in Antigonish, NS I am thrilled to be back in the Moncton area.
I would genuinely love to hear from anyone from my grad class, especially if you're in the Moncton area. There are many of you who remain in my thoughts, however I have not been able to make contact with you. Feel free to contact me at any time by e-mail or look me up in the book.
Cheers,
Heather

Hello hello ...
Miss Computer Illiterate here just discovered our MHS Alumni Website ... and I recently graduated from the 'Acadia Advantage' program?! Hahaha ... so yeah, on May 10th, 2004, I received my Bachelor of Business Administration with a Major in French and an Honors Thesis in Criminal Law from Acadia University. During these summer months I'll be training 3 horses at Broadleaf Guest Ranch, until I leave for Depot in September. 'Depot' is 'Boot Camp' translated within the RCMP recruitment process. It's certainly been an exhausting development, but well worth it - this time time year I'll be licensed with a gun!!! Hahaha ... good to hear everyone is doing well. Take care and keep in touch.

Hey everyone,
It's so great to read through all of the entries and hear that everyone's doing so well! MHS was definitely the highlight of my education days, I miss it a lot! University is going ok though, I am at Atlantic Baptist University studying Psychology, which
I love! I've had the opportunity to do some travelling since I left MHS and I'm grateful for that.
It's hard to believe its been 3 years since we graduated, before you know it we'll all be meeting back at good ol' MHS for our 10 year reunion - I can't wait! Speaking of which, make sure you keep in touch and keep the exec. up to date on any name and location
changes so we can track you all down when its time =)!
Thanks for all the wonderful memories you've given me, hope to hear more of what's going on in your lives!
