Percy Fred BarnabyPercy Fred Barnaby, a lieutenant in the Carleton and York Regiment, died December 13, 1943 in Ortona. Barnaby, of Lewisville, was the son of Mr. And Mrs. Fullerton Barnaby who owned the longstanding grocery store that is now the site of Fabricville on Pleasant Street. Barnaby is buried in the Moro Rover War Cemetery in Italy, The cemetery
lies in the locality of San Donato in the Commune of Ortona, Province of
Chieti and is situated on high ground near the sea just east of the main
road that runs along the Adriatic coast.
