William Harvey Goodwin 

William Harvey Goodwin, a pilot officer with the Royal Canadian Air Force, was killed in action on June 13, 1944. He went overseas in 1943 after enlisting with the RCAF and graduating from the Air Observer School in Fingal, Ontario. The son of Woodford Goodwin of Baie Verte, Pilot Officer Goodwin served with the 408th Squadron of the Royal Canadian Air Force. He was a graduate of Moncton High School and was on staff at the Bank of Nova Scotia for two years prior to enlisting. He is buried at the Avesnes-Les-Aubert Communal Cemetery in France.
