Knowing how much you earn is
an essential part of creating a realistic budget. How much you
earn depends on your occupation. You will be completing the
WebQuest for your first job - either after you graduate from 4
years of university, college, or you enter the world of work
after graduation from high school.
Use the Canadian
Government's Job
Futures 2000 website
to find a job that you are interested
in. Be realistic - match your career with your education and
experience.
Or try these instructions:
1. Double click on the Internet
Explorer icon, , on your desktop.
2. In the Address box enter the following URL, web
address,“access.bridges.ca”
and then press enter.
3. For Site ID enter the following: “0100170”
4. For Password enter the following: “A6d6k3Y7”
5. Then click on the “Go” button.
6. This should take you to a new page, where you should click on
“Interest
Profiler”
7. Now Click on “Start answering questions” and answer the
questions
honestly.
8. Once you are done, you will get to a page with your results.

your interests. You should click on that if you are looking for
suggestions on
careers you will be good at.
10. Once you pick a Career, the choice program allows you to
look at the “skills you
need”, “what to learn”, “money and outlook”, “is this for you”
sections, which
might help you decide what to do in future.

paycheck worksheet and calculate your net monthly pay.
